Hey everybody, new guy here. Driving a 1995 c3500 dually 6.5 td with 152,000 miles, set up with 3 inch down pipe, 4 inch exhuast to a 5 inch tip and a cold air induction. Original owner of the truck. Found the site looking for help on why the lift pump quit working. Figure out that the ops does not work with the help of this great site. (thanks) Now I need help to figure out the best tool to use to remove the OPS. Love diesels becuse nothing like smelling diesel first thing in the morning as some would put it. Anything that has a motor and wheels and can put some G's on your body i'm all for it. Thanks for this site being here.. :)
Hopefully I posted this correctly.

I bought mine at AutoZone for like $6.00. Socket make specifically for the OPS. I believe it fit the 1/2" ratchet.

X2 you need a special OPS socket as the sensor body is too darn long for a normal socket.

Yeah the hex size is 1- 1/16", but it's rounded off so much that you can't get much on it. The OPS socket is the way to go IMO.
