Hey Nick,

(all the following questions concern my 1999 Chevy C3500 Chassis cab GMT400 body style, 6.5L 5spd 2wd (IFS Style like the pickups, NOT like the C3500HD chassis cab with the i-beam front axle) reg. cab with an 11 foot utility body (soon to be ditched for a flatbed) I will be towing as high as 26K combo cross country, and possibly higher locally)

I went to your site and saw you are a dealer for energy suspension, and was wondering what all came in a 3.18107 kit, and how much does it cost?

also, is there any benefit to the black over the red? I heard the black is graphite infused, correct or no?

additionally, I was wondering what the energy PN is for 6.5L 2wd motor mounts, and if the trans mount in the 3.18107 is ok for a 6.5L NV4500?

also, I wanted to ask your opinion on parts replacement intervals: do you think I should put the 3.18107 kit in now, and change the balljoints, tie rods, etc later (everything is getting some wear after 125K miles) or should I do everything at once, then go for an alignment?

which brings me to my final question: will your PISK1006 "8-Lug 93-98 GM trucks & SUV’s Pitman/Idler Braces" kit work on my 99 C3500 chassis cab? and will they extend component life?

also, what would a set of bilsteins run me?

any input appreciated, thanks!

With 125k on the truck I would re-build the complete front end or atleast go into it under that idea because once in there you may find she will not let you pick and chose, if you get what I mean. On your year truck I do not offer much other than the shocks and PISK kit, the PISK will in large the life of the indler and pitman arms from seeing wear so they are a great purchase. We have the Bilstein Yellow 5100's for that truck and you are looking at $292 shipped. I have not had a large amount of pre-2000 2500/3500's ask for product so we have not researched to find what we can offer, very sorry we are limited.

Black or red only difference is color. More info:

You may have to purchase some standard bushings for the upper control arm if the metal collars on the bushings break while being disassembled. (You are buying them for metal parts not the rubber.) This would just be for the metal collars. These are washers with a protrusion that goes into the center metal bushing support to hold the alignment. Several of mine were cracked. The kit I got did not have these metal parts.

so will you guys sell a 3.18107 kit? if so, how much?

and that price for the Bilsteins is for all 4?

does one need to setup an account to order off the site? I think I will wait on the suspension for now, but need to get a mag-hytec for the diff cover.

Sorry we would have to special order those ENE3.18107, price would more than likely be more than you would find on line so I would say no. On the shocks that would be the price on a set of 4, 2 fronts and 2 rear. If I see more people asking from pre-2001 8-lug GM suspension parts I will add them to my site and stock to keep the cost down and be completive but even though I can get my hands on almost anything I want if the price is not right I am wasting my time to sell no product. That is the reason I try and stay on what we are good at rather be a jack of all trades type online retailer.

They are a great source but not sure if they are the best price, I would search on line if anything. We are not always the cheapest but have the service to go with it on what we do know so if you find a place that is known for service a few extra dollars is worth the head ache, I never have heard anything bad with Summit myself.
