I'm needing to get some air bags for when I'm towing my 5th toyhauler. Can anyone help out with where to mount the compressor and a good location for the gauge and switch?

I mounted my compressor behind the rear seat. I have a crew cab, but iirc there is plenty of room on the ec also. It keeps ti out of the weather and keeps it alive. Gauge and switch could go in a trippin mount from socal diesel in the over head console.

Oh...I thought the compressor was sealed so it could be mounted under the hood. I already have an overhead gauge pod. Would the air pressure gauge fit in an A-Pillar pod? I could move my other gauges there if I had too.

Ed, look into the auto meter gauge pod that goes under the rearview mirror. I absolutely hate the gauges on the a-pillar. it blocks so much of the view especially at night the glare from the gauges is freekin annoying. I have the mirror mount 4 pod setup from auto meter and it works nicely. The compressor may be sealed, not sure, here in this shithole of a state the salt they used here in the winter would have ravaged that aluminum housing like a rabid bear so its inside.

Here in south Texas there isn't any need to salt the roads so that isn't a problem. The kit I'm looking at is from Nor-Cal and it by Air Lift I believe and the compressor looks like it is in a case.
I have the 2 gauge AutoMeter pod above the mirror now I didn't know they made one with more that 2 holes. I'll have to look into that.

Ok I look at the vendor I bought my gauges from and they have 3 hole mounts and an air pressure gauge to match my boost and pyro.

mines under the rear seat. couldn't find anywhere to put the gauge/controller, so its on the passenger side under the dash. I can barely reach it, but usually my 5 y/o copilot is happy to help. I've been wanting a pillar gauge panel forever, I've got gauges scattered all over the damn place..but thats a good point about the visibility. I hate having lights in my eyes at night, taking away all my night vision. I always keep my dash lights dimmed way down.
