Just sharing this with you :hello: That straight pipe in other picture was not a good idea since the rim and center cap went all black... :mad2:

Very nice, how much room do you have between your tire and the pipe? What size tire are you running?

Thanks :) There is about 4 inches between tire and pipe. Tires are 265/70/16. Only noticeable thing in this mod is that clearance between pipe and springs lowest leaf has to be enough. Mine is sometimes hitting to the leaf when terrain is steep enough, but not much.

I have done the same thing, but with larger pipe even. And when placed a little further out I get very little soot on the wheel. You may also have a turbo problem if getting a lot of black smoke.

It´s not "black" just some. I drove about 200km when I put that straight pipe and after few days noticed that it´s not clear anymore.

Looks cool but I am off road alot loaded and unloaded so this might not be the mod for me if it hits the springs.

Are you still making good boost? I know when I fixed my vucuum lines and boost solenoid the black film on my rear fender went away.

Boost is at 60mph about 0,5 kg/cm and peaks about 1 kg/cm so yes, boost is allright :D
