I want to purchase another boat when I return but, I want a 1988 Correct Craft Martinique. It is a little more family friendly. :D

Thanks for looking! :thumbsup:

Why not MasterCraft...What about a used Maristar?

I had the predecessor to the Maristar... a 1988 TriStar 220 walk around...

an excellent boat all around...a little ballast in the back and a great wake boarding boat as well... I believe persons capacity 10

here is the layout of the boat...very people friendly IMO

Oddly enough I didn't have any pictures saved of this boat and in doing a search to show you what they looked like I actually found my old boat for sale(well...for sale in 2007 on a Mastercraft forum) http://www.tmcowners.com/market/showproduct.php?product=1603&cat=5

I had sold the boat to a fella that came from Arkansas to buy it...

I need to save these to my PC...

Thanks for bringing up old memories... :)

Since I know have four kids I can not afford too much. The boat I want has an all inboard motor, open bow, and higher sides than most inboards. If you go to this website you will see what I am talking about;

I also grew up on a Correct Craft. I do like the set up of the boat that you showed me. What price range are they in? I need about the $6,000 range.

finding a 220 WA for sale in and of itself is a task...it took me the better part of a year to find that one when I bought it...I paid $9000 for it in 96'(?) when I got that one...I sold it for $10,000 in 2000 in 2007 my old boat(see the link) was selling for $8,500...don't know if he got that or not...

If you still like skiing that much I would condsider a used Maristar before that martinique...I'll dig around to see whats out there just for S&G :)

I prefer to wake board (our try) than ski. Another reason for the Martinique. Have you ever owned a Martinique or had a buddy that owned one? First hand input would be great. I loved my old 2001, it was a great boat! Just too small for a family of my size now.
