Well I took delivery of my new Custom Vehicle Operations Road Glide. I have put 1620 miles on it so far, and love it:D

The wind shield sucks, and I have a new one coming.

The 110" motor is great with the six speed trans.

I have run the Dragon (US 129 Deals Gap) a couple times on it. Handles great.

Here are a couple pictures at delivery.

That's one sweet...and VERY expensive bike Dave. Nice. How the heck do ya put on 1600 miles already? I just got my first ride in yesterday. Ride safe.

Thanks. Bike was not as expensive as some of those Choppers.

I rode the bike home from the dealer, which is 54 miles from me, it took me 136 miles to get home and it was only 33 degrees out.

Easy to get that many miles on it, every time I have rode it, I have put at least 200 miles on it. I usually put between 7,000 and 9,000 a year on a bike.

Very nice looking ride. You must spend 24/7 riding it to put that many miles on it already.

Thank you:smile5:

No but I usually put on 200 or more miles each time I ride it. With my work schedule I work 14 days straight then have 12 days off that I can ride if not raining.:smile5:

Nice ride!
1600 miles? Holy cow.

...and is there actually a windshield to begin with? :D

Dave,

Sweet ride! I think I will make the trip down to deals gap sometimes this year, we have GOT to hook up. Where did you buy from Smokey Mountain HD?

Also, look into a Klock Werks Flare windsheild. I got one on my Street Glide, and it works great, and looks better.

This is the one for the batwing

Holy crap, my sport bikes have more windshield than that!! ):h

Looks good.
Believe me, that wind defletor does nothing but put all the wind in your face:eek:

It is worthless.

My new windshield is at the house waiting for the install when I get home Wednesday.

If the weather cooperates I will be riding up to Cincinati to visit a friend for a day, then back home. Then a few days later six of up plan to ride to York PA to tour the harley plant, again weather dependant.

Tim

I have already tried the Klock Werks 12", and it does lift the wind some, about to my sunglass at 60mph, trys to take them off my face.

I have a Cee Bailey 14" that just got to the house, also a dark tint and shaped much like the Klock. Hope that is better.

Yes, I got it from Smoky Mountain HD. Had the deposit on it since Aug. Also got the wife her 09 Heritage there.

Two weeks ago my wife got Hired by them part time:smile5:

Hey Dave, you didn't work anything out for trade....bike vs. wife :rolleyes5:):h

New Wind shield

Well I changed the wind shield for a little more protection, its a Cee Bailey 14". It's ok but I still think I need a little more. I also added a chopped tour pack for trips and a Danny Gray big seat

Back of Bike

Here is the back of the bike, I put the spoiler with third running / brake light on the wing too. The stock harley plate holder was also changed out to a curved one with a led light rather than the silly one harley had on it.

Looks nice Dave.....I might be riding mine up there this summer, so I might have to give you a ring

One more

Here is another side view. Were the two pipes meet, there was a cat. I have cut the pipe, removed the cat and re welded the pipe. This really freed up the motor. I also added a TTS Master tune, and fullsac baffels in the stock pipe. I am now at 96.6 HP and 14.7 torque at the rear wheel:D In a year or two she will get some more compresson and bigger cams.
