My favorite Discounttire store tested their safety equipment today. Employees were using it and inflating a new tire in the safety cage. The tire failed with an impressive BOOM! at the bead. No injuries.

Everyone is standing around the tire cage all of a sudden and then they remove MY new FUBAR tire. :wtf:

So this makes 2 flats on patch this week. 1st one was landscapers s#it falling off on the freeway that a branch went through the sidewall. Held air but ruined the tire.

I suggest "A Happy Ending" like we have recovers value to Disney type advertisers.

Looks like the install was the problem. These rims are shallow and don't allow much room to work the bead. They ruined another tire trying to install it today. This makes 3 tires ruined by these rims. When I first got them used one tire started bulging from a bead tear. The chrome was flaking as well causing leaks so I scrapped the wheels and went back to stock steel I happened to pick up recently.

So now I have a set of 4 BFG's on the truck. Looks better as the chrome didn't match the shot multi color paint...
