Well, here it is. It's a '95 and now has a 3" body lift and I put a set of 36X14.5 Ground Hawgs on the passenger's side just to see how it would look. They *almost* fit. With some trimming and cranking they would fit no problem. I'll end up running 33X12.5's when I'm done. The 5 speed is out of it right now because there was no oil in it at all and it locked up and took out the bearings when I was driving it home. :(

The blue truck is my '99 gas 'burb. I fell in love with this black truck as soon as I saw it was a 5 speed. It only has 175,000 KM on it and I am friends with it's only owner. It was repainted in '97 after an accident, colour change from white to black at that time. It has the weirdest reciever hitch on it and I'm going to have to change it because after the body lift it looks terrible. It hung way down below the bumper and now that I'm raising the bumper 3" to match the body, the reciever looks even worse. The front end is apart due to the instalation of the lift. I'm going to clean the rad while everything is apart. I have to fab up some intake piping because the stock setup no longer works with the body lift which is one of the reasons the manufacturer does not recomend this for diesel trucks. The other is the loss in cooling ability with the rad being moved in relation to the fan. I don't tow and there seems to be some other fixes for a hot running truck, so hopefully thiis won't bother me. I know there is at least one more person here or maybe on another site with a body lifted 6.5.

Thanksfor the compliments,

Bill

I have only seen a few 5-speed Suburbans listed FS and they have been in TX for some reason. Rare rare and rare.

So they did make factory 5-speeds???? That is sweet. Yea, Texas seems to be the place to go for manual trannys, and very, very large bumpers :D

Nice 'Burb. I bet if you dropped the GFX kit the 36s would fit better. I'm fitting 34" tires with only a 1.5" TT. I always did like factory centercaps on aftermarket wheels. Nice.

The full length running boards are coming off and going on the blue Burb. I don't like them at all. I'm gonna need to make some nerf bars that bolt to the frame. It's quite a step in for me and I'm 6' tall. My kids will NEVER be able to climb in. LOL Also, I want to hide the frame.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. :)
