After fixing my problem in my last thread (thanks for all the help)
I thought I'd tell you about my latest upgrades.
I installed the ATT with a kojo tune. I have 4:10 gears and tow a lot.
The truck has a GEP Ted's trucks take out, bigger precups, ARP studs,
and FTB
The truck ran great before the ATT but I tow a lot, mostly in 3rd and at 60 mph thats 3000 rpm. The GM turbo didn't like it.
So I put in the ATT and KOJO tune and my truck absolutely loves 3000 rpm
After 5000 miles of towing it has never gone above 1200* EGT. I can get at least 15 psi boost (thats where my gauge stops).
I load my 3000 lb Big Foot camper and hook up my 17 ft ski boat and roll on down the highway.
With camper, boat, fuel, water and people the scale says 17,000.
I did have to back out of it one day this summer to keep the coolant below 210. New fan and clutch before next summer.
