My 1993 6.5 has a 9-blade plastic fan... has it and its clutch already been upgraded?

I'm looking at the Kennedy kit, but it appears I may have a Dmax fan already from a previous owner. It's a black plastic 9-blade unit. I want to make sure it's optimized before the Texas summer gets here. Thoughts?

Sounds like it has been upgraded. Take a tape measure to it and make sure it is a 21" fan blade and not one of the gasser 19 inch ones.

Yep, 21"! Awesome. How often does one get to cross an upgrade off his list immediately for free? Thanks, FERMANATOR.

Fan yes. SCORE.
Water Pump? research the part number on the waterpump to be sure it too can come off the upgrade list.
Clutch? Might want to double check that one too. I'm thinking you're on a winning streak but its best to know for sure.

Fingers and wrenches crossed for you, Good Luck

Pav - sorry for asking this question that I'm sure has been answered many times before. but I'm new at this forum searching stuff: what part number should he be looking for? I'm in a similar situation with a used motor that I just installed, which has a new water pump. Thanks for the help. Feel free to PM me if you want to.
