I have two OEM block heaters now and need another cord. My original single cord is cracked and looking scary.

I wonder if there is a cord that's made for two? As in, one plug for two heaters...

I know AK is running two big heaters, not sure how he's wired. Anybody else?

I'm using the original cords and they plug into a 2gang boxmounted under the hood with one cord from there to the bumper. You can buy just the new cords at least you used to be able to.

I wouldn't want both tied together all the time. I would only use both for a fast heat or if it isn't my electricity.

I found a 2" heavy duty cord shaped in a Y and plugin on both legs, just long enough tp plug both cords in and hide the plugin in the nostril.

I actually use less electricity than before. I would have to leave it plugged in alot of the time because it would take so long to warm the engine. Now I plug it in for a hour and I'm good to go unless it's really cold -30 and colder.

Running two heaters. I kept them separate. Figure that I'll use one unless I need to plug in a start in a hurry. I noticed that in the plug in, coffee, eat, go, one side fired, one smoked. Warming both sides should mean smoother starts.

Usually I can get away with the plug and go. Over night would mean a warmer cab in the morning, faster though.

Went to O'Rielly auto and picked up two cords for 11 something each. They had to order them. Came in the next day.

I will probably do a double gang box like AK. Could do a battery tender and maybe a oil pan heater. Maybe.. At least now I can warm up both banks.
