This is a bracket that I will offer for trucks. (Suburban May be a different set up) For the Wix fuel filter and/or Walbro pump. If you don't want/need a filter you don't have to run one although it is highly recomended.

This bracket is very simple and very strong, it requires no welding. Its a bolt on deal/plug and play. I've had quite a few request for a bracket from pepole that may not have the "fab know how" or time to mess with it. I will say it was time consuming to round up all the parts, so here it is. I'm only going to be asking $30 for them. Just the new material cost to you will be more than that.

This paticular truck runs fine as it is so I left the stock LP in place for the pictures yours would be removed.
As you can see there is plenty of room to add the filter. (waiting on three to come in next week)

Start by temporaily removing this park brake bracket. Remove the old fuel pump and the plastic ring/holder thingy. (You can see it in the top two pic's to left and behind the Walbro).

With the bolts provided reattach park bake bracket and put new bolt though the frame and into the bracket mounting nuts. Intstall the front bolt the same way on the pump end.

Here you see the "guts/heart of the bracket. The nuts grab behind the lip of the rail and can be ajusted anywhere along the length of the bracket.

I would be willing to test it for my burb. Let me know. I want to add a filter to my set up. Pull the sock next time I drop the tank (ugh!).

I've got my Burb to do mock up on. Its actualy an easier bracket for the burbans. Im going to mount filter and pump further back than the proto type I have installed now. Hopefully I can play with that tomorrow and get some pictures up.

are you going to make it part of a package combined with the walbro lp, filters, filter head. and all the fittings? i would be very intersted in something like that.

Probrably just offer seperate. Some will want to make there own and not need a bracket.

On a side note: My pressure has gone up to 12psi at 65mph.

If you need a price for the whole kit let me know. I guess I should offer a complete kit for ease of ordering and also the itemized parts for those that won't need everything.
My new website will hopefully be up soon and will be much easier to navigate and also have all the newest products listed.

Here is a picture of a bracket with pump and filter mounted but not plumbed in.

Did'int know if it was cool with you to mention your name. Really getting excited to have a "real" web site.

FYI - I'm so glad that you are considering pricing out the whole system. If my truck wasn't my daily driver, and if I had plenty of time to mess around trying to figure everything out, then I'd probably already have it installed on my truck. But, it IS my daily driver, and I just want to be able to plug & play with it. So...you can chalk me up for a price when you get things figured out - with a Walbro pump/filter/bracket/fittings. And as soon as some debt is paid, and a new crossover is installed, I'll be seriously considering your setup.

Thanks to all the passionate 6.5ers that continue to make these trucks better!!

I went to Burning Oil's house today and he installed a bracket and Walbro on my Suburban.
I will try to shoot some pictures and post them tomorrow
All I can say is WOW!!!!! This truck keeps getting better and better! I was telling my wife last weekend that it felt like it was time for a new fuel filter. I was getting the fish biting while cruising about 70mph, especially after a hard accelleration. I told her I was hoping to hold off on it until my Feed The Beast stuff got here. The drive home this evening felt like a completely different truck. Fish biting- GONE! Throttle response is crisp and punching it at 70, it just goes!

It took some work to convince the wife that we should put some money into this seventeen year old truck. I think a little drive tomorrow will convince her this was money well spent!

It was good to meet you and your son. I could tell right away the difference just in the way it perked up at idle in the driveway.
Glad to hear the pump made a difference at highway speeds to. I know it made a big difference in mine and everyone who has installed one so far.
Remember to get that PMD out of engine bay.

That was my plan for this morning but when I got home I found the spring on the garage door had broken so I have to fix that first! And thanks again for that cable!
