I'm looking to do exhaust on my '85 Beaver motorhome. It has factory manifolds and dual exhaust. I'm thinking of keeping the manifolds and increasing the tube size and using free flowing mufflers. The way it is now the tiny tailpipes dump in front of the rear tires on both sides. it's really restrictive, plus the passenger side comes out right under the electric step, so if you start it with the door open you get fumed out. Anyone have any suggestions? What do you guys run on your MH? Thanks

I put a 40 series flow master on mine.(single 3") Had me a hot rod soundin' motorhome. It was sweet on those long hills in second gear, it would flat out roar. I would run a dual 2 1/2 system w/ an X pipe and not 40 series flow masters. Too loud, but cool. Or you could see if you could have them both exit on the drivers side. May be you could do a single 3 1/2 system, would probably be best for sound ,torque, and ease of gettin exit away from entry door.

Ya, thats what I was thinking. If I could find a y pipe that comes in 2-1/2'' or 3'' into a 3'' muffler with 3'' tailpipe that would be sweet. Or run the stock 2-1/4'' head pipes into a couple of glass packs, or flowmasters into tail pipe that exit on the driver side. idk , help need more input...

That sounds like a good plan, although the H pipe setup will maximize torque. If you do run true duals, I can't see you needing anything bigger than 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 at the most. What engine is in this beast?

PM me, I may have a cool air filter for this application.

454, I just removed some kinda noise filter that was glued into the filter housing. I have never seen any thing like it. I am also in the proses of fabing a cold air system pulling cold air from behind the grill.
