Lesee... Where'd we leave off?
Ah, yes. The water hole. After a rough 10 hours in the saddle, in 90+ degree heat and sunburnt to a crisp, this little swimming hole was too good to pass up. I changed into my swim trunks right in the parking lot, modesty be damned. If they charged $100 to jump in, I think I would have paid it.
Just buzzin through the park...
the cabin we rented. $150 each for a total of 3 nights? Well worth it! Cold beer and a hot tub is a great thing after a day of riding.
At the start of some road, that I cant seem to remember the name of...
about 1/4 of the crowd at Deals Gap, at the bottom of The Dragon.
the view from Clingman's Dome
In the meadow at Cades Cove
Tranquil.
Pictures dont do this justice. It has to be seen with your own eyes.
So... How close exactly were we to Oak Ridge?!?
Baby bear shot up this tree faster than I could ever have imagined. I bet it was well over 100 foot tall, and the little sucker went straight to the top.
Mama Bear getting a bit antsy upon hearing a dog bark.
Ya know what. I got plenty of pictures of the bear. Time to leave!!!
