Well I knew this day would come and it did on saturday in Waukesha a the pull. I got down to the end of the track and ping, my driveshft twisted into two. I tried downshifting to 2nd to keep the turbo alive and get that extra couple inches and i figure thats what did it. And of course this meant i missed the pull at 5 that same day.

Ill get some pics up when i get a chance. Going in tomorrow to a driveline shop to have one made.

I also have a really bad fuel leak. It was there after the pulls last week, but its gotten a lot worse. It seems toi be coming fromt eh rear of the drivesside of the motor. Should be fun to figure out. Like I said its really getting bad, my entire trailer was doused in diesel by the time i got home.

Also still need to do my new front traction bar mounts and a few other little things.

Sorry dont have a video of my own but remind me and ill post a link to one.

Tough break vinny.

Have you checked the return line where it comes out of the head on the drivers side, that banjo seal has a tendency to move when taking the line on and off.

Well that didnt apear to be the issue. The turbo pedestal and center section are covered in fuel and the whole valley is full. It doesnt appear to be a very obvious fuel leak either. Guess ill have to start taking some things apart.

Went to the driveshaft shop today and they said theyll have it done tomorrow for me i guess.

Got an LLY to work on and a 6.7 Cummins to finish a few little things on tonite though.

Well I picked up the new driveshaft today. Its 4" pipe with .083 wall IIRC. Should be a lot stouter. Stockers is a little under 3.5" With about a .68 wall.

Heres some pics

Got a brush pull tomorrow night. Then a long haul on saturday for a points hook.

Also finally got my new front traction bar brackets welded on. These ones should be my last design (well theyre welded on so they better be).

Tomorrow night ill be painting the traction bars and working on redoing the driveshaft loops.
