My six five should be runnin again monday. All i'm waitin on is a injector instillation kit from Heath. Puttin my hx 35 turbo 15lbs boost arp headstuds 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back and dual 6 inch miter stacks. I cant wait to hear wat it sounds lyk. Hopefully the turbo is gonna scream):h. Idk how much of a difference it'll make but it should sound awesome. My trucks been sittin for bout 3 weeks now so i'm gettin pretty anxious.

Well we didnt quite get it done we came across a few minor problems.

The first came when we tried to bleed my injector lines. Lift pump will not come on. Checked power to it and there is nothing. We hooked it straight to the battery and it came on tho so i gotta get a wiring diagram today and get that one figured out. When we gave it direct power nothing came out of any of the lines so i'm not sure wuts up wit that either.

The turbo fit beautifully tho!!! But we found out not all six five manifolds are the same. They fit good but the bolt lengths are different so i gotta get some more longer bolts for the passenger side.

Also I have to find a piece of hose to connect the turbo to the intake all the local auto parts store had was radiator hose and its too thick for my t clamps to fit around. Another question I have is if the turbo oil outlet is low pressure of high pressure so will I need a high pressure oil hose or jus a plain old water hose?

you need an oil return hose on the turbo that is made to stand up to the chemicals in the oil and contaminates. I searched on line and found a distributor that sells silicon hoses for applications including turbo in various sizes and lengths- will try to find.

The return hose just needs to be tolerant of oil chemistry & peak oil temps the engine will see. At peak turbine temps, that oil is carrying a significant amount of heat away from the turbo.

ok i'll try that then. I had to order some intercooler hose to connect the turbo outlet to the intake it should be in tomorrow then i can bolt on the turbo and get the exhaust on and fire it up.
