Denny, what type of mods are you thinking?
Some basics:
Clean radiator behind the oil coolers.
PMD relocate.
OPS extension hose and relay.
New lift pump.
New exhaust.
K47 air box.
From there its really up to you, also if you have more than 100k miles its recomende to get new/rebuilt injectors.

welcome to the site!

the best thing to do mod wise is to lay the ground work.

make sure the cooling stack is spotless, some guages would be good too, fuel delivery at max performance, etc.

then, add the stuff that will make way for future mods, such as a 4 inch exhaust.

luckily, you allready have the facotry round air filter housing, (unless someone changed it) which filters great, and flows great too. if you think you want an aftermarket intake such as an S&B (from heath) or an AFE, keep me in mind on the factory air box system if you sell it.

there are many things wild to mild you can do on these trucks, it just depends how much money you want to spend and how hard you want to push it.

good luck!
