[Primer]

Looks like I either destroyed my transfer case or transmission the other day.

Driving down the highway when it acted as though I dropped it into neutral. I put it into park after stopping and heard the chatter of the park pin because the transmission was still spinning. I tried the transfer case in 2wd, 4hi, and 4lo but no sign of anything.

I'm guessing it's either a broken planetary in the transmission, broken output shaft, or something in the transfer case

Anyone have something like this happen?


You hit 301,000km and next thing you know it needs a transmission or transfer case :\.

Happened to me last year with a tranny, blew reverse out. This year, Major engine damage, Stuck valve not sure of true details yet. So you're not alone. I'm with ya.
