By the time somebody was to buy the pieces to build one, and then pay somebody to put it all together as well as a tester to verify operation, you would be close to the cost of an optishift I bet. If somebody wants to build there own, this is a good way to go, but for the average DIY guy that doesn't feell ike soldering printed boards and such, this kit doesn't really save them anything.
 
I take board level soldering for granted I guess... :D
 
Did not study it to much. Do you have to buy the 5 items to make it work?
I wonder if you can adjust on they fly using only the "box" without a laptop hooked up? With OptiShift you can. OptiShift has two programs also that you can change between Sport/Eco.....ect.
I think If I were going this route I'd just install a GM TCM again.
