max boost seen with ATT

Your gauge should be 20 lb max, 15 even better. I have the ATT with a 50 lb Isspro gauge and the needle barely moves. Max I've seen is 12 psi going up a grade, but I haven't towed with it yet.

ok good deal, i am just checking, i want the lowest range needed, and want to make sure i am not going to surpass that range. i intend to get the att, a new chip with added fuel, and tow a 38' 11,000 travel trailer.

That will be a lovely machine!

no thanks Burning Oil, i'd rather have separate gauges, i am working on an overhead console to relocate my radio/video screen to, and if it works out i am going to make a plate to mount my gauges where the factory radio mounts

I,ve seen 19Psi :sifone:
But with or without ATT it wont make good to engine , and it dont need it..
Just needs gm's original timing table and 80mm3 fuel and enough load to do that... been there, done that :rolleyes5:

I have had 19 also, I would recommend a 0 to 20 psi gauge. I have never had over 19 psi well 19.2 according to the scanner. :D

How often do you guys see over 15psi action??

I have read 10 psi is alot for ATT, you must be really hammering it get 19.

I would have to think that 99.9% of the time a 0-15 boost guage would suffice?

I am rarely into the throttle that much and it usually happens for a brief period of time before I have to get out of the throttle.

Generally at full throttle on a hill by the house here at 3000 to 3100 rpm. And I am at pretty close to 100 MPH, that makes me nervous.

Hard to find matching anolog gauges for both egt and boost in that range. I might just go with digital gauges.....

I just noticed your in Jasper. My granny lived there and is buried there now. Last time I was there must have been 1980.

How do you like these gauges? Can be had with 0-15 psi also.

Yes, I am now based in Jasper, i travel a lot for work though. I grew up in Beaumont, and lived in Galveston while working in Houston a while back. What i am looking for gauge-wise in a matched set.....Boost and EGT and possibly a fuel pressure gauge. Would like a boost range up to 20 lbs, and have a full 270 degree sweep. I don't really want any combined gauges, as i will have room in the dash for 2 or 3 gauges.

Those will fill up fast and it will begin an addiction of gauges, for which now you will be out of room. You need to think about how you are going to feel a year after those gauges are installed, and base your choices based on that :)

I've seen 18 psi and still climbing, I backed off as soon as I seen that. FWIW when I had the scan tool hooked up my boost gauge is about 1 psi less.

These are the gauges I am using, pretty nice and not that expensive.
