MagHyec deep transmission pan, which filter

Hi there.
Just purchased a MagHytec deep transmission pan, part # 4L80E-A. Instrucion manual says use a deep filter only and the part # for the filter is 24210956 (GM/DELCO)
Have any of you tried this combination of filter and pan?
Reason for asking is that the recommended filter is exactly as deep as any other filter I've for the 4L80e trans?????? At least when ordered for a 1999 year trans.
Don't want to ruin the trans, so please chime in if any information.
Thanks

Thanks to both of you.

MadMaxx- the link is to a 4L65 trans filter, on the same site MagHytec lists the overall height for a 4L80E filter to be 3,65". And that's what I have.

And the pan has three recessed spots for the filter to rest on. But top of filter neck still 1 cm / 1/4" lower compared to the OEM pan when measured from top of pan to top of filter neck????? (6cm vs 7cm)
Thanks again

FYI if any interest?
Got the MagHytec deep pan (part # 4L80E-A) into the Suburban the other night. The pan itself was more or less straight forward. Had to remove the mount off the crossmember to access the rear three bolts, other than that no problems.
Used machinist blue on the three spots in the pan, all of the spots touched the filter when mounted, so seems to be ok and the correct filter advised from MagHytec.
Not impressed about their customer service, noe responce at all.

Hi Leroy.
Thanks for asking :hello:
Norway is doing quite well at the moment. Almost done with a "few" projects. Just have to put in a new (used) engine in a pick-up, then done. (And vacation from job and project cars :)
In fact I've delt with four trucks the last months, finally I ended up with a 2000 Suburban with a near new Optimizer engine in it. All the parts I ordered from you a while back went onto this vehicle, not the Tahoe it was ment for.
By the way, anyhow and how much DiamondEye says the long muffler in their Tahoe exhaust will fit on at Tahoe after some fabrication, it wont fit. There is absolutely not enough space between the rearmost crossmember and the rear axle. Period. :) So, ended up using this set on the Suburban, where it fits perfect, and made up a no muffler exhaust for the Tahoe. (Nice sound)

Great, I wonder if they shipped you a Suburban kit then. Ive sold one other Tahoe kit and never heard back from the guy, so still not sure if they fit?
One day I want to go to Norway.
