hey does anyone no were to find vacuum lines for a 6 5. no dealer around here has them:

That will work DMD, why that choice for a "handle" ? you realize the 6.5 isn't a Dmax correct ?, also keep an eye on those WAP glows, looks like Walt got to your wallet before you found the site wis warranty on WAPs isn't the greatest and there was a vintage of those that only lasted a short while, so if you start having hard to start issues go through those WAP glows.
Copper line as MGW suggests using small piece of vac line at ends as connectors will work better than std vac line because in long runs and high underhood temps the 6.5 has the rubber can soften & easily collapse into itself under vacuum reducing vac applied to the WG. That is why GM used the nylon lines for the length required to prevent collapse, in my VW they use a rubber line for their vac devices that is like a 3x thickness of std vac tubing with overbraid to prevent tube collapse under vacuum.
