Looking for a spin on fuel filter for SVO

Looking for a spin on fuel filter for my SVo conversion on my truck. I am trying to buy locally but having no luck. My stock diesel filter is 5 microns so I don't want to go any higher then that. Every auto parts store cannot supply any smaller then 10 micron. I have tried Canadian Tire, carquest, napa, princess auto, fleetline. If I have to I will buy off the web but I am trying to stay in Canada as the exchange & unreal shipping costs to buy from the US makes it too costly. Tried Ebay & there are lots of filters on there I could use but none from Canada. The filter I am presently using works great but it is an oil filter. Didn't realize till after that oil filters have relief valves. Relief valve great for oil, bad for fuel. Don't need a fancy one, waterblocker or anything like that, just your basic 2- 5 micron spin on.

Hoping some SVO/Bio guys can point me in the right direction.

You should be fine with a fleet filter number 33358 and you can use an old filter housing from a VW if you can find one at the junk yard. 5 microns is overkill in my opinion.

Thanks. I have found one that will fit onto the filter head that I am using. I went back to Napa & gave them some filter #'s that I had found on the web & after about 1/2 of them searching they found one. It is a 10 micron. It is not exactly what I am looking for but I feel it is better then what I have & it's only $12. Better to have a 10 micron that will plug up then a 2 micron that potentially will filter nothing if the relief valve opens.

I probably will be ok with 10 micron but my stock filter is 5 micron. I am assuming that it is 5 micron for a reason.

I'd prefer 5 micron, but I doubt you'll do any damage with 10. I run a heated Racor that has spin on elements, I believe they go down to 2 micron.

You're right about the relief valve, that would make the fuel filter useless.
