GM 26000985 Boot,Steering Gear Pitman Shaft
GM 26000985 Boot,Steering Gear Pitman Shaft ; Part Description. BOOT,

Everybody says they don't have one.

Is there an aftermarket number we could give them?

This thing? my truck has one on it. GM put one on from factory but I'm not sure they are made aftermarket. iirc they are the same on the older GMT400's too. I would venture out to the pick a part yard with a pitman arm puller and some wrenches and snag on one from there. all it does is help keep the dirt and road grime out away from the seal.

That's it. A search of the part number gave me the years.

I wonder what the difference might be, if any?
