I suspect grounds or Ign. switch could be a problem. Also check the fuses in the engine compartment, FSOS and ECM fuses. Make sure the spades are shiny. The CEL light may also be burned out.

check fuses?

Thanx guy's. I came to the same conclusion too at work, I'll defintly be checking them out, I took some steel wool to the contact points on the fuses a few months ago to be sure that if something like this happened I would just have change the fuses. For so many things to happen at once it has to be a fuse, or a contacts on the fuse box. I'll be sure to check the other connections methodically since there are so many things that are run from the electrics.

Has anyone just swapped out the electric IP for a mechanical? I know it'll be a big job but I aint scurred. I'm a firm believer in the mechanical things, it just takes so much guess work out of the equation.

Alright I guess I jumped the gun a little, the stupid little 20 amp ign fuse was the culprit this time, when you look quick it looks fine but if you look closer there is a tiny little burn mark on it must be where it had blown. If it goes again I'm going to find the short somewhere.

There is the ground at the back near the firewall somewhere in the same neighboorhood of the fuel filter. Check that one.

There is a nice thread with pics by TurbineDoc in the technical library that you can see all the grounds.
