While I was in Afghanistan I won a $450 gift certificate on Facebook from Line-X. I went down to the local Line-X dealer the first couple of days I was home. But I wanted to wait till I was on Block Leave before I got it sprayed. Today was suppose to be the first day of Block Leave but they put us on a 4 day instead. So being the very inpatient individual that I am I could not wait any longer to get the bed done. It turned out way better than I ever could have imagined. Here are some pictures;

I have been wanting to get the roof painted but could not afford the over priced quotes I was getting from the local paint shops. So, I had it Line-Xed also. Here is how it turned out;

I got the premium Line-X which will not fade from the UV rays of the sun. I still need to install my cab lights and bed light. I will get that sometime tomorrow.

Nice! I don't think I've ever seen a line-X roof before! (It's like your truck has a K-pot on it)

Line-X is really good stuff. 5 years of hard use and mine still looks excellent. Looks good Marty. Not sure about the roof but I don't DISLIKE it.

i would like to get my black truck's roof Line-X'ed white, cut down on the Texas heat.
dieselcash, was the roof extra from the bed? if so, how much? any idea on a spray of roof only?

The roof spray is what I wanted to do originally first, because of all the rust I had on it. I just went ahead and had it all sprayed at once, the bed and roof. This Line-X dealer here quoted me $350.00 for the roof if I removed all the lights myself. I figure it is a good deal since I will never have to paint the roof again. My roof was a lot worst than the picture below. I would say it was about 75% covered in rust more than the picture below.

They did an excellent job. I'm debating on having mine done.. Before I put a Gooseneck ball in mine I probably will.

Looks great!!

I concur, the first thing we've done on our last two pickups has been to add a spray-in bedliner. Worth every penny. Bed looks sooo much better and stays looking like that indefinitely. Our truck takes some serious abuse and the bedliner is starting to show its age, but it's MUCH better than if we'd have just left it painted.

For those that can't afford $600+ for a professionally sprayed-in liner, the Dupli-Color kits are of really good quality, and it's around $100 for a whole truck, plus elbow grease.

I owned a spray in bed liner business once and we did a few complete vehicle sprays. One in camouflage pattern. We spayed that one inside and out.

I'm wanting my bed done black and rockers and bed tops done with tan. This is on a dark emerald green truck.

I like the lined roof and agree with GMGuy on the hail proofing!

I've got a Speedliner in mine (similar to a Rhinoliner) and want to get it topcoated with LineX. I had LineX in my old truck and loved it, I'm not liking the Speedliner too much.
I've seen a few Jeeps that were sprayed inside and out, looked okay, but they were hardcore off-road machines, not sure that i would do it to my truck, well maybe a paint match spray on the rocker panels.

I've thought about doing my entire blazer in the duplicolor stuff. I like the idea of getting the roof done too. I may just do that to the burb for roof protection if I put something up there.
