Lift pump wiring ?

While replacing my injection pump I had to cut a wire that was spliced into the FSS. Apparently it was for the lift pump as it no longer works. So I need a wiring diagram or someone to tell me where I can reconnect that wire.

I'm not familiar with any wire that needs cutting to replace an IP? Can you elaborate?

So we need to know what the other end is connected to.

This might help but its a 97 schematic. I gave away my 95 manuals when the Tahoe went bu-b...sorry.

Can you not just redo what the previous owner did?

I could but I don't want to. They used a snap together clip.

May be knowing the original color of the wire will help.

Otherwise, post at DP forum, usually Glagulator will reply or you can search for the manual in their FAQ.

Sounds like you might be describing a scotch lock connector. I hate them, double check the the wire has not been broken clean in half

Could I just run the lift pump off a toggle switch?

Yes. That will get you going.
But as long as doing that, why not just put in the relay harness with ffm filler switch from Leroy? Order it now and install switch tonight to drive tomorrow. Then use the relay so everything works properly once it gets to you.

That is theee very best option. I installed this unit with the Carter lifting pump kit and not a problem one since then.
