Lift pump jumper wire for trip?

One other thing, I guess - I have to make a trip today that will take me about 130 miles or so. Since my LP isn't working through the OPS, should I remove the fuel pump relay in the fuse box on the fenderwell and put in my jumper wire for the trip, just to reduce the load on the IP?

Forgot to mention - in case you never thought of it, I'd put an inline fuse in that jumper. I've been using 10 amp fuses/ Not sure what is recommended.

I wouldn't drive it without the lift pump running. You'll just destroy your IP if you do.
