Anyone know why the set of 3157 LEDS I put in my front signals don't work? The driver side led in the signal housing faintly lit the dashboard indicator light and also lit up 3 of the 7 LEDS in the driver's mirror. Really funky. This happens when the parking lights are turned on, but the parking lights work fine. Nothing from the turn signals. I put the regular bulbs in and they work fine. I also have 194 leds in the corners that work fine. The truck has leds everywhere including an led flasher, and everything works fine except for this....

Take Out the LED's in the Front, and Flip them 180*. LED's are Polarity Sensitive, Halogens aren't.

If that doesn't Work, take Out the 194 Corner Bulbs in the Front Signals.

That'll Fix it.

Ok..Fooled around in the garage for a little bit....First, I just realized that the front corner markers actually switch polarity at the connector depending if the parking lights are on or not. Sooo, that makes it a problem as if you set the led 194 to go on with the parking lights, it will screw up with the main turn signal bulb and not blink at all. The 194 will actually kick the main bulb into signal brightness. If you set it to go on with the main signal bulb, the other side of the truck blinks. Crazy I know. It seems that the 194 LED is not an option on the truck, and it also seems that the front signals need some kind of load to work properly. If you put a reg 194 with the LED 3157, the 194 bulb dims. Take the LED 3157 out and replace it with a regular 3157, and the 194 perks right up.
Really weird....

I just took out the 194's, and mine Works fine.

I'll Mess with it more when it get Warm Out again.
