For my Jeep.

These are 100% LED. They're made by Truck Lite. They're the 7" Round Version and will Fit anything that Uses a 7" Round Headlight...from Harley's to Jeep's to Hummers & Muscle Cars.

Installing them in a Few Minutes. They're 100% Plug & Play.

How well do they light up the road and for grins: are they as bad as HID's for blinding/glare for the oncoming driver?

Here's some Pics so far from in my Garage. They'll Explain ALOT.

I'm VERY Impressed with them. They def. got some Weight to them too.

Delta Quads with OE HID's Glare:

Hella E-Codes with OE HID's Glare:

Truck Lite Glare:

LED on Left / Hella HID on Right:

Same as Above, just not as Over-Exposed:

Truck Lite Blacked-Out Look when Off:

Hella when Off:

Truck Lite on Left / Hella on Right. Look at the Bottom of the Beam at how much more Foreground Light the LED has than the Hella.

The Width is Impressive with them too. I couldn't get far enough Back to get it all in the Pic, but the Beam is DEF. Wider with the LED's than it is with the Hella E-Codes with HID's.

Here's some Farther Away Shots:

Low Beams:

High Beams:

Lows & PIAA LED Fogs:

Everything - Full LED. No Halogen / No HID :) :

Ok, Official LUX Readings are In:

Stock Headlights: 6300 LUX @ 6ft
Newest Truck Lite LED's - 8100 LUX @ 6ft
Hella ECE's with OE HID's - 24600 LUX @ 6ft

So, needless to say, HID's are still Brighter.

BUT...the LED's use Less Power, Turn On Instantly, Last Longer, have BETTER Lighting in the Foreground than ECE HID's, have a WIDER Beam Spread than ECE HID's.

To do HID's the RIGHT way with Projectors, you'll be OVER the Price for these LED's. To do HID's the BEST way you can with Reflector Housings and the RIGHT way, you'll be Close to, if not even with the Price of these LED's.

So it's a Toss Up and it all comes down to how much you wanna Spend.

Nelly that's bright. They're about 22/44W so you won't melt any wires.
I like the instant on like you said, no hitting the high beams and driving in the dark for 10 seconds while the HID's warm up... wonder how long it will be before they come out with normal modern replacement bulbs that rival the output of halogens.

Just went for a Ride before, and these things are soooo much Wider than the HID's in ECE's I had in. They are seriously Projector Wide. They don't have the Sharp Cutoff, but def. the Width.

That's what I'm wondering..

I don't think it's too Far away.

I'd say 5 Years or Less.

If they could make these Produce 55/65 like an H4 Bulb does, these would be without Question, Brighter than HID. But when they Made these, they already said they are the Brightest Allowed by DOT.

In looking at the photos, it is very easy to see that the Hellas are much brighter. But they are very respectable for LED's, and the low power consumption is great. You sure have a lot of lights on that Jeep. :D Looks good James. Your like and advertising billboard for your lights. :rof:

This is nothing Compared to what I used to have on it. I had 11 Lights on it at 1 Time. Now it only has 7. :)

Here it is Before with 11.
