Luckily it was real minor. She slid into me going about 25-30mph. Bent my bumper up to the fender...looks like the fender is o.k...hard telling right now. Popped the blinker light out but it didn't look like it broke...just popped out.

1st thought- What the eff is she doing???!!!

2nd thought- Sweet! '06 Black bumper valence and fog lights! (before I even got out to look)

Hopefully the fender isn't bent at all. :frown2:

here's some pics-

That sucks man...

But you got the right ideas...I have a buddy who installed a new lower valance with fog lights. He loves them. You'll never realize what you were missing...

Yeah, i know I want them! My buddies all have them and they actually work awesome in the fog with the headlights turned off. They've been on my wish list for a while but just never ponied up and got them. Now I have a reason and don't have to really justify them. :D

to bad I cant get how people forget how to drive every winter, never fails. I thought I could trust the girlfriend driving my truck the other day she calls me telling me they put it in the ditch at 50mph and almost rolled it.:nonod: Im like why would you tell me this, trying to make my heart stop or somthing I guess:mad2:

If you handy after you get your check from her insurance company, Replace the bumper yourself, you'll be happy you did. It's not more than a morning of swearing and cussing but it cool to say you did it yourself, save a few bucks for Christmas and some kid will not be driving you truck around from the body shop.

exactly.. always upgrade, that's how I got my Denali headlights:D

I got rear ended by a Kia doing about 20 mph the day after Thanksgiving.I always leave my ball in my reciever and it went all the way through the radiator to her fans. She was trying to light a cig.

that bumper looks like it is pushed up a bit. you might want to do the finger test. i see how many fingers i can get between the bumper and the body on one side and compare it to the other. i know mine hangs down about two fingers, yours looks pushed up compared to others i have seen. i hope that makes some scene what i just said.

 did you read my post at all???

Yeah, maybe I will do the bumper myself....dunno though. I think the insurance is dealing straight with the dealer so it's probably too late. Are the fog lights that easy? I've heard they're a pain. I also read on DP that I won't need a BCM reprogram...that was the trucks older than '03. Can anyone tell me for sure?

I'm just happy that the dealer is working with me to get the parts cheaper than the quote so I end up with a free set of OEM fogs. :D

sorry. just saw the pics and reacted. my fault, im 4/3 retarded on a good day.
