So I bought a set off ebay awhile back. Finally got them on my truck. They are the power/heat options but no turn signal.

Before, Stock power towing mirrors for 2005. I never did like these mirrors. For one the glass vibrates when going down the road. Dealership told me it was normal. I say unacceptable. They also have terrible blind spots, especially on a CCLB wheelbase. This was my second set, first were replaced when the -power out- function quit working. Something about a broken clutch and track inside the mirrors. Both original and replacements had vibrating glass.

I also leveled them out.....and for those of you from Florida that is what we call frost on the windshield :D As you can see my defroster is doing it's thing.

Some people that have done this talk about bending the bracket and putting rubber inserts in places to compensate for the new angle. After looking at the bracket I didn't see any reason to go that extreme. 3 washers behind the top two screws, then tightening everything down worked just fine.

Road test. I noticed a little play in the mirror housing when messing around in my driveway, however at speeds up to 70 it didn't make a difference. The glass does have a little vibration at the higher speeds, but nothing like my original mirrors. I will say the same style mirrors on my '09 patrol truck are rock solid and have absolutely no vibration all the way up to the speed governor.

In the end I'm happy I bought these. They are tons better for blind spots compared to the originals.
