I know this might have been discussed here, found some threads, but couldn't find the one with a link to a comparison test which was made between K&N, S&b and AFE vs stock.

This study was comparing those CAI vs K47 box.

Anybody remember the link? or was it on the other site?

growing older, memory is lacking :skep:

I would like to see that test too.

I dont think S&B was tested because I'm not sure that they were out yet. Banks uses S&B filters, although, they don't make that public. AFE did fair out well if I remember right.

K&N proved to be the worst filtering one out on the market, in 15 or so different filters tested.

Gimme a few, I'll see if I can track it down.

I am willing to bet that the Amsoil Nanofiber performs a little better than the amsoil when those test were done. K&N or the S&B stuff is alright if you dont mind cleaning and oiling them and youre not an in an off road, country road, or desert sand, dirt and dust area. Seeing how much the vacuum the turbo can pull need to be able to filter that stuff well in some areas.

I am impressed with the quality on the Amsoil Nanofiber filters. I will continue to use them from now on, but I also have the K&N type.
