Just bought an 86 Goldwing Aspencade. I get to pick it up tomorrow night.

Haven't ridden in probably 15 years. So have to get used to it again.

Any other Goldwing owners?

Thats a big bike my friend and put together very well.Just take your time and try and find a road with no one on it and get the feel of it-congrats to you.

Well, have over 800 miles on it in 3 weeks. Averaging about 37 mpg.

The first ride was 20 miles. I was a little shaky to start after 15 years, but I felt comfortable by the end of the ride. I used to ride a lot after high school. Working in a cycle shop made that pretty easy. I got to take the motorcycle safety institute class, courtesy of Fort Wayne Superior Court in college. A refresher class has been on my mind.

Its been my ride to work most of the time. :sifone: The weather has been a problem a few days. Friday, I got caught in the rain about a mile from home.

Took my daughter to get a helmet for her 17th Birthday. We're planning some rides togeather. I can't seem to get the wife interested in a ride though. She did give the ok to get it. Seems the 13 vs 37 mpg made the argument pretty easy.

Looks nice. How many miles are on it? Roughly, what do those go for used and 20+ years old?
