Just Bought 4in Silverline turbo-back for the '02

One other thing I forgot to ask.. I hear that turning the muffler backwards will make it a little louder? Anything wrong with doing this? I want to try this before I go buy the $80 delete pipe

If you reverse the baffles, I'd be willing to bet that your mileage is gonna suffer. The air is supposed to run over those louvers, not into them. I have a feeling that when they did mine, they reversed the louvers since my mileage took a serious crap immediately after.

Nick is right about the direction of the louvers. If you want louder and free flowing, replace the muffler with a straight pipe.

BTW, the install will be a snap with that lift that you have. One additional tip will be to pull the back of the wheelwell liner on the front passenger side to access the clamp at the downpipe.

Really? Damn't. Well another $80 is nothing compared to what I have in store for the '02...

The lift is on my 2000 gasser, not the '02 dmax. Thanks for the tip on the wheelwell liner tho.
