Hey guys. I recently joined a couple of groups on FB that are all about 6.5’s. Lots of folks asking for help and looking for advice. Lately I’ve been finding myself recommending them to join here to get hep and learn.

I just happened to see this and thought to myself Nice! I figured someone there local might need or want some of these goodies! Maybe @Burning oil I think your in that area!

Heck yeah. If I was anywhere near there, I’d be all over that.
Oh yeah, when I was in FB I had joined a couple of 6.5 groups, probably the same ones.
People needing help constantly. Quite a few wrong answers to problems too.
I dumped FB when they no longer would let Me into my groups. Got blocked, the truth really must a busted their balls. 😳😹😹😹

FaceCrook + group think of wrong answers to problems = Absolutely no surprise.

FaceCrook + Nation State sponsored paranoia content = Conspiracy theorists' Dream Team.

Getting banned from FaceCrook = PRICELESS!
Yes it is.
I get along just fine in here.
I do post in Gab, MeWe and Browsley. Mainly just copy in the prayer that @Thankful posts in here for us every morning and lately, there is beginning to be a little action in the groups I joined over in MeWe.
One Dodge/Cummins group, a gal in there having some problems with Her Dodge. I replied several times and then instilled the truckstop web site in a post. See if She makes it over.
I do get a lot of reposts and like hits on the Todays Prayer, I’m constantly posting in, I dont own that, Thankful over in thetruckstop.us needs to be thanked for that and, He gives the credit to the Holy Spirit and to Our Heavenly Father.

I have thought about starting another fakebook account so that I can keep up with the grand childrens in Alaska. I totally missed the eldest grandson taking 2nd in his wrestling bouts over the weekend. The son texted and said they were too long to send in a text.
Then not making any friends with anyone except my childrens and sisters and brother.

I've been trying to invite several in those groups to join here in the forums. I had commented on a persons post trying to help him get his truck running yesterday, later he messaged me over FB asking for advice after some were giving bs comments. it felt good to find his problem. he had codes for missing resistor and a map sensor. he's ordering an resistor to install to get rid of one code and I told him once that is fixed to diagnose the other code. someone had told him that his IP was bad and unplugging the shutoff solenoid would fix it!! I invited him here telling him about all you guys that are more experienced than I am, and how much better group of guys are here :)

This is the closest thing I could find. Doesn't ask you to leave though.View attachment 68015
That wasn't it. I'm not sure I ever saw that response. I don't remember it.
Can't say I'd cry a river for his $70,000. We hit $150,000 the first go round. Just got it down to $70,000 this year. Had a $160,000 week not long ago - absolutely no idea what our share will be. I don't even bother looking anymore.

Medical bills are a funny thing. Nobody has any problem with getting the service to save their life, but makes me wonder whether they would balk if given the bill ahead of time. Or better yet, offer them a second opinion of how much a Mortician costs instead of the Doctor.

And, Yes, I get it that medical bills can get problematically huge.

For med bills, I talk to the hospital/clinic, set up a payment plan, usually they are happy with $50.00 a month, then stick with that plan so they dont turn me into collections.
An organization called Sisters of Leavenworth took over the bill when My sister was receiving chemo for non hodges lymphoma. Sis had to pay several thousand but that was a huge discount from the quite a few tens of thousands.
The sisters are a part of the Holy Rosary Hospital group.

Yup. All too easy to work out a plan with the provider as Doctors really do not want to put an account out for collection. But some people are just stubborn, too smart for the rest of us, will fight anything, and act like it is somebody else's fault, so the medical provider esentally gets forced into going the collections route.

Worst case is to go bankrupt and then the taxpayers eat it when the provider writes-off the bad debt against income. Actually, going bankrupt is not necessary as at some point the provider has the choice of writing-off the debt and taxpayers eat it. But of course, we don't want to let that Socialism trick out of the bag, right ;) So the providers tend to go the collections route as this usually gets some recovery, and it is a lot less effort than justifying a ton of write-offs should the IRS show up.
