It's not a ProVent, but it's also not a couple o' bills...

Its much easyer to just vent to the world.notting to clog or go haywire and the oil will stay put. were it belongs.
If BP and other oil company's dont seem to give a F about pollution,why would we.
 
I like how he said plan to spend a couple days on this project. A couple of days might be worth a couple bills. You could fabricate some and sell them for $100.
 
If you loose the CDR you can drain the centrifuge in that hole also.

Interesting thought.

However, my off the top idea would be to keep the cdr, install a separator, then run the "out" line to the stock location in the intake ducting.

The drain (and the centrifuge) would be T'd into the turbo oil return port.

If I was to make this guys separator and it's ineffective, I'd be able to simply remove it and swap in a provent.

Just a few things I've been mulling over lately while planning out my fuel delivery system....

I built a plate with the drain lines for the turbo and Spinner to return oil to the stock location. (What a pain that was/is) I did that because I had to make the kit "universal" able to fit any 96&^ truck.
On one you are doing for yourself you could just drill a hole in the valve cover with the correct gromet.

I could, but that's just not my style....

I fabbed something similar for my VW TDI, it was more trouble that it was worth, as the accumulator/oil knockout pot actually allowed pressurization of the crankcase and early CDR diaphragm death.

From what I hear about the provent some have reported similar experiences I'm now of the opinion to just "set it free" and do a atmospheric vent, heck more oil from the GM 4x4 oil filter adapter leaking than what comes from venting to atmosphere.
