Is there a better wrench to remove flare nuts on lines on IP??

I'm redoing my valve covers AGAIN.I believe the wrench size is 3/4 standard or 19 metric. My regular wrench is a PITA.I looked for a flarenut wrench but can't seem to find one in the 3/4 or 19.Does anyone make a wrench that size??

I bought a crowsfoot wrench that goes on the end of a 3/8 extension. It works pretty good.

2x
19mm crowsfoot, using 6" extention

I've been able to pull the lines from a single side with the crows foot. Pulled a single head and left the injector lines for the other side inplace.

I have a Snapon 11/16-3/4 double flare nut wrench I bought WAAAAAAY long ago. Too bad you're not closer, I'd loan it to you!;)

That works on the nut on the IP end of the fuel lines??? I'm trying to picture in my little brain how that would work??

There is just enough room between the nuts and the block to clear the crowsfoot. The lines are bent in a way that clears the extention.

I've removed my lines a dozen times now, its the way to go.

On the 19mm flare nut, only snap on or macco must have them. Craftsman or napa don't, it not considered a standard flare nut size.

I spent $30 on the crowsfoot set at napa. Well worth it.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, they carry crows foot flare wrenches to use with a ratchet or extension. Very reasonable price.Or you could buy just one 3/4" one online from McMaster-Carr

x3.

i bought my set from napa. the SAE set works fine, since i originally bought the m for my blazer inj lines which are 5/8", where as the 6.5 is 3/4". I think the set cost me $25.

Had a cheap China 12pt box wrench took my Dremel and cut an opening out of the box end wide enough to slip fuel lines thru, a little heat on the wrench & bent it to angle that worked the best for me
