i dont know if they are the same or not and am wondering if it makes a differance or not. my serpentine belt is "rolling"and cutting the 1st rib off it.the alignment between the drive, vac pump and ac is not quite right but tremendosely better than b/4

first, need to fill in signature line of you vehicle and stats under user cp, so we know what year and configuration along with upgrades.

generally yes they take the same compressor, try this-go to one of the big auto stores online and fill in your truck info and write down compressor model, then put the same truck in with a gas engine and check model number.
is a pulley bearing out somewhere???, is tensioner good?? or which accessory is off alignment. give some info on truck and check belt alignment for which one is off the most.

I have noticed that the part that comes up on a given parts scan is not always the correct part - a part with OEM specs - but the part that that company sells for replacement

with so many overseas parts, about the only way to tell is visual or by experience. its possible to check clutch kits. my 94 took the same as a gasser, replaced last year, no difference or alignment problems.
