If I had OBD2 truck, I would pick them up in a heartbeat, after seeing what its like on OBD2 vehicles last week when someone with one came by the house.

It was 1996 single stat, which is still in the way compared to earlier single stats that had AC compressor on passenger side. So you also have to get those AC lines out of the way. taking up the compressor was still limited access. New appreciation for the simplicity of the 95/95 and earlier engine layout.

Is anyone here bidding on them? I am going to bid on the actual wrenches, no bids yet, and I would like to be able to set the timing on OBD2 trucks with the Car Code I have. I used it last week and it is very useful, just not nearly as easy as GMTDScan

They work quite well on all 6.xx. I used mine just recently on my 93 with a DB2.

I got it from a buddy of mine, who has switched to a D-Max.. I am getting pics of stuff to put in my "New Project" thread.

Be watching that with interest. I was told by Peninsular that a DB4 would not have good driveablity for an automotive application as it was designed for Marine use and the advance curve would be off.

I dunno but I hope your right, Think of the upgrade a DB4 would make from a DS4. Dieselpro was arguing that there is no such thing as a DB4 so I don't know what to believe but I'd like to see some hard facts.
