The International is my year long project. After I crawled under my '87 blazer one day and found stress cracks around the bolts that hold the front seats to the floor, later found that the body was about to detach itself from the floor boards. I picked up the cab and fenders from a neighbour's back 40 and a few hour's in the garage and voila. Right now it's sitting on the '87 chassis 350FI and auto. But just bought my first diesel and a I'm thinking of dropping a 6.5L TD into it with a five speed.

The 6.5L TD Tahoe I just bought after a teenager totaled my '03 dakota, a month ago. Had a few bugs from being neglected for so long, but this site and another helped my issues with it, now my wife has claimed it. Gathering up a list of mod's I want to do to it.

I love it. I had a 63 IH crew cab 4x4 for a winter. Wow, did it ever eat fuel! That thing could be a sweet diesel for sure.

Welcome to DTR! Really like the 2 trucks. The IH is really cool. Bet a Cummins would do a nice job in that...):h

Thanx to all of you for the comments

A cummins might be the way to go, the v8 barely squeeses in there, might be too tight to keep it cool enough. And from everything I read so far 6.5's don't like a lot of heat. That and it would give me an excuse to have some more dodge in the project. Just found a 70's power wagon 4x4, with a body that's rusted off of it, also has a dana 60 and 70 under it. Gonna try to slip them under the IH.
