sorry to keep bothering with questions, but the '95, now after driving for a week, runs great. at slow speeds and ~17-1800 RPM, he SES light comes on. give it throttle or let off, it goes away. 60+ mph its just fine. also, if you are running it on cruise, and it kicks off, the next time you try to go anywhere its in limp mode. this also happens with the truck not shutting off. could the ECM be causing this? the PO said the truck was doing this, he said it was running 3500 rpm at 55 mph no wonder he blew it up!
I currently just started having the intermittent SES light issue about a month ago. It started when the temperature started to drop for the winter. Started right before i noticed my OPS had crapped out and my LP wasnt running, but after the recent FRC-10 swap it stopped for about a week. Unfortunately it came back, so far is only happening until my truck gets up to Temp and when it comes on if i let off or accelerate it goes away and i have no noticeable loss of power but my cruise control will kick off. im going to hook up my extra PMD to see if that fixes it but i will be pulling the codes later today. Other than that my truck runs like a beast with no issues especially with my new Heath EProm.
