Hey guys I've got some gremlins
-I have to cycle my key between 5 and ten times to get my wait to start light and glows fired. L/P primes as it should every time key is cycled. Once engine fires i usually do not have cold fast idle unless i blip the throttle at which point it will fast idle until warm.

Glow controller is about a year old Napa Echlin brand. Grounds have all been taken apart and cleaned, connections look great.

Codes are P0380 glow circuit problem
P1216 Fuel solenoid response too short -- Swapped out spare PMD with no change in symptoms
P1656 Intake CMP actuator solenoid control circuit -- Vaccum wastegate code?

Truck runs great with lots of power. Throttle is very touchy and does not pass the idle - 2500 - idle test. I believe this pump to be tired and on its way to I/P heaven. Just wondering if these few gremlins are connected to one problem as they surfaced together with the exception of the touchy throttle.

Any help suggestions is appreciated!

x2, no fast idle may be related to the temp. switch in the coolant cross over.

Stepper Motor....Timing....See if a start cycle improves with the Coolant Temp Sensor unplugged, this should increase glow time to max and give you some advanced timing.

Also, check the Grounds at the back of the engine, Tranny stick and the last Intake stud......R&R.

CTS seems to have fixed the glow and fast idle problem. Thanks guys.
