Well last winter, my glow plug light quit coming on one morning. I replaced the relay with no luck. So I was just gonna wire in a override switch (funny how things don't get done sometimes XD) Then it started working again. Then it stopped. Today I got my truck back from getting a new flexplate installed, and by god! They worked! And then they stopped again after I hit a good sized bump. Any idea where to look for loose wires? Bad ground?

Fill out your signature so we can see what's been done. Glows can stop working for a number of reasons. Check the fuse, make sure contacts are clean, follow wiring and make sure no shorts or open grounds.

I rebounded the wires at the intake a couple months back. That was causing my ignition fuse to blow. I'll start running down the wiring in the morning.

Or just re-wire with a harness from PTWiringSolutions. Might not fix the actual issue, but it is a good upgrade seeing as you are already working on the system.

To the actual issue, am with the others in terms of checking out grounds and wiring. How about the main ground?

Adding a switch might work, but if there is a gremlin in the wiring, the switch might prove nothing more than a non-helpful mod.

It will be his 95, Leroy. Same one as the other thread.
