Interior lights/ignition key

My 94' burb has something weird going on. If I open the drivers door the interior lights don't turn on. If I open any of the other four doors they turn right on. If I have the key in the ignition and open the drivers door the buzz to indicate the key is still in the ignition turns on.

Is it possible for the switch that senses the door is half bad? Or is there a problem within the lighting system?

Thoughts and opinions?

Thanks

Colby

Replace the switch as it has 2 contacts, one for lights and 1 for key chime/buzzer.
