Interchangable injection pumps

Hi.
Is it going to be a problem swapping the injection pump from a 1995 year into a 1997 year Silverado? Blew the engine in the 1997, donor engine is out of a 1995. If I've to swap the pumps I'll do it before the 1995 engine goes into the 1997. Thanks so far.

I have a 99 pump in my 95, iirc 94 is the only odd year.

Yep, the 94 is odd I believe. Don't or didn' know if the 95 is odd as well, because they're both OBD1?

any pump will interchange, except the DS4831-5068 which was specifically designed, for the 1994 K3500 IIRC, and which needs it's OWN ECM to work.

A 1995 OBD-1 will work fine with a 5067, 5289, 5521 or a 5521S, and your 1995 IP will work fine in your 1997 OBD-2

The no-gap rings wher a bit over $300. The n°2 rings were machined to make them gapless, and I get the stock top rings and bottom rings with them.

Leroy from Leroydiesel.com was very helpful and arranged everything to provide me with a full set
