How do you remove that flexible intake air snorkel in the fender? I've never had to remove one as they were always gone before I got the vehicle. The '94 Suburban we bought still has this thing in there and I'm at a loss on removing it.

I think its below the bat tray, a screw that holds the duct to inner fender and maybe a plastic rivet? remove all attaching hardware then just pull it out. It takes some go force to get it out too.

Yep, theres a screw behind the battery towards the front, and a plastic rivet right in the center of the outlet. KENNEDY has a write up on his site.

Oh oh pick me pick me!!!!!! I did a write up on here with great pics doing mine!!!!! Help me find it!!!! Look my posts up Big T its almost the first one I ever did! You have to fold, wad n wrinkle n just keep pulling, there is also a adapter that hooks the snorkel to the muffler on the air breather. Take the muffler out its even more restrictive than the snorkel, I substituted a piece of pvc pipe. Some say you can take the guts out of the breather muffler too, looked to hard so I did the pvc thing!

Thanks, I was able to quickly remove the snorkel and get the intake air filter box back together.
