First off I would like to say I don't think that there is a problem with the kit Bruce sells but the process is a PITA.

I am installing the cables on my 93 K3500 and someone has done some hack job rigging in this beast. I will get pics but my laptop is broken so it might take a while.

can anyone tell me what the blue wire that goes into the pass side cab plug and how the wire spliced into the gp harness that leads to the gp controller needs wired in?

Also, nowhere in my old harness is there a place to plug in braces little plug that is on the ds harness.

His battery cables are awesome. They were fairly simple to install.

Hope the rest of the install goes by quickly and painlessly

Peeling the old ones out and figuring out what to do with my extra wires and where his extra hook up goes is the hardest part.

There are no provisions for the oem wire that is part of the splice job and leads to the cab harness on the pass side firewall.

A separate wire goes from the splice to the the relay control plug. I do not see this in the provided instructions and don't want to hack up the new harness.

I have a 94' shop manual set of these rigs. But its at my dads house. Wont be there till this weekend.

I have a Chilton (covering my intake in a pic) but can't find much useful info

Yeah i was going to buy one of those, but when i bought my first 94' my dad got me a Birthday present off Ebay. A set of 3 original GM manuals for a little over 100 bucks.

Looks like a rig I'd roll in but for that price they can take a hike! I posted one very similar in jrsavoie's fuel miser thread, 97 crew cab 5 speed heath upgrades.

I have a mixed fleet but all of my db2 equipped trucks are GMC and all of my DS4 trucks are Chevy. Not an intentional thing but an odd coincidence.

all the more reason to get the full GMC set! :)

dad has the same deal, his pair of twin 3500HDs (identical save for mirriors, transmissions, and fuel tanks) are both GMCs, and his 6.5L DS4s are Chevy.

Which 2 orange wires? The 2 main wires that go to each bank? How do I jump to both?

The jumper wire that you are talking about is the one with the plugs on it correct?

Thanks for the help Bruce
