I was looking around for a reasonably priced combo setup as most are in the $400+ range, someone mentioned this so I gave it a try. It has a gerotor style pump ala gas intank pumps, housed in a 10 micron prefilter housing then a 2 micron post filter. Its regulated to 11 psi via a return line to the tank. I checked it when I got her running, 11 psi KOEO, 14 psi engine running. My van has never run this good, I've been fighting hard starting cold and no starts hot and so far, this has fixed all the issues I had, plus its got more power, smoother etc. My 6.5 lift pump just couldn't do the job, it just couldn't pull the my witch's brew out of the tank.

I didn't need or want the cooler so they sold it to me for $150 plus shipping. You can get filters for around $40 for the pair. I took both units apart and removed the stock fittings, tapped for pipe threads and installed the fittings I wanted. Had to use a bit of heat to loosen the factory loctited fittings.

Looks like crap. Take it all off, throw it in a box and ship it to me. I'll dispose of it properly for you :). Nice work

I bought a cheap chinese digital oil pressure gauge to mount in my dash but its DOA, but before I installed it, put my liquid filled one back on, warm, I got 9 psi and 2 footed it, dropped to 7 psi. Didn't drive it but when I get a new gauge mounted, I"ll report back.

I can barely hear it with the engine off, its a very very quiet humm. My scavenge pump pretty well drowns everything out, ack.

I reccomended one to a friend for his DURABURB and he was concerned with how loud it would be. I figured being an OEM type pump it would be quiet.

Exactly, OEM have to be quiet as customers don't want to hear anything. Because its an intank style gerotor gas type pump, they are also very silent.

Found both filters on Ebay for $40 shipped, so can defineatly handle that, plus if I want more post filtration, I can buy Nicktane's adapter and run a cat filter.

Just make sure and steer clear of the plastic filters. The WIX plastic filters have left alot of people stranded with fuel leaks.
