I just bought 40 new delphi injectors of of e-gay:rolleyes5:. I'm trying to find specs and application information on them and others to compare. Info for bosch injectors and interchange info would be helpful also. I've tried a half dozen google searches to no avail.:confused: I do have a request in with delphi on their web site but have gotten no response yet. Any help would be greatly apperciated. Barry

I have this document that was posted here on the other forum by DieselPro.

I am not sure if this is what you want.

That helps some , Thanks. Anyone with more info please post.

Just that Delphi, Denso, Continental, Bosch, Stanadyne are in the same corporate & if you go into Stanadyne web site you read everything in Chinese "Fo-od For Thought" :D :D

I would take one of each kind apart and get my own specs,seems to me there's alot of misunderstanding and misinformation were injectors are involved,I don't think anybody but the one that takes it apart will know if it has the flat sided pintle.

I do have engines for all of the blown up trucks plus a spare brand new rebuilt. Damn work interferes with my work at home. Then 5 acres of lawn in the summer doesn't help either.

This is some info I got which could be helpful from D&WDiesel as I brought injectors on e-bay from them & as we had a little dispute..

Hi Paul -
The injectors you purchased, Stanadyne part number 38275, although officially marketed as “marine” injectors, are frequently used by truck owners who want to flow more fuel for higher output. The orange ring injectors would be the standard injectors for your vehicle. Incidentally, the 38270 number you referenced is the number for the injector holder, a component of the injector, and this holder is only used on the 38275

The injectors arrived yesterday.They are Delphi 6703802. That is 6.5n/a application. From the specs that jmjnet sent that would mean that the only difference is the pop pressure. Nozzle "SHOULD" be the same. I'm looking into getting the pop pressure reset or doing it myself when I build my own pop tester.I prefer the idea of doing them myself to get them as close as possible to spec and each other.:grouphug: From what I've read in other threads New injectors are not all set at an exact pop pressure.:confused: They can be as far off as 500psi:nonod:. My plan is to have them within 50 psi.:thumbsup: I will diesect one of these and a bosch to compare. That will be in a seperate thread.
The seller has 80 more of these same injectors available. He is selling them in lots of 8 for $100 The sellers name is :crtmichup. I did have a problem with ebay/paypal on the deal. Paypal sent the funds to the wrong email address.:mad2::mad2: The seller is not a scammer.
I got all 40 injectors for only $325.Hows that for a deal?:eek::thumbsup::D

Does anyone know if what he say's in his thread is correct, in that, the pop pressure is lower, but the fuel amount delivered is the same? N/A vs T/D ??? The way my truck is set up, with mod's ect, and I pretty sure I need new ones, that these would be just fine for me.?? The price sure is right for my budget.

Look on the chart on post#2. The only difference is pop pressure. That can be set higher by adding shims to the springs inside the injector. Cheif says that his runs fine with the n/a injectors without changing anything. When I bought 40 of them I figured even if I had to put different nozzels in them it would be a fraction of the cost of new bosch injectors.
They don't come with the copper washer. Those are included in most install kits.
Once I got the paypal screwup figured out and sent the money to the right account he shipped them within a hour using priority mail. I had them in my hands in 2 days. But if you would rather pay bill heath over $450 for injectors that is up to you.
